AMI President and CEO J. Patrick Boyle is scheduled to appear on CNN’s Larry King Live tonight (9 p.m. EST) as part of a panel discussion on meat safety and nutrition. According to CNN’s Web site, the show is entitled, “Beef: Safe or Scary?”

The segment is being prompted by the recent New York Times article on ground beef safety by investigative reporter Michael Moss that ran on October 4 ("Woman's Shattered Life Shows Ground Beef Inspection Flaws").

Other scheduled panelists for tonight’s show include former U.S. Under Secretary of Agriculture for Food Safety Elsa Murano, Ph.D. and attorney Bill Marler.

King’s web site is currently conducting a poll of visitors asking “Do you eat meat? Yes or No?” The Web page currently shows 19 percent of visitors claiming they do not eat meat, though the site includes a disclaimer that the poll is not scientific.

if you work in in cubicle is the same as eating meat from a cubical; of course what else a meat cubicle producer could say "meat is safe"; please, please know the product that you re introducing to your body,.....did you see "food inc."? Take a look at the behind industry know the facts is your body and it needs you. Search and know the food that your body is introduced to. Cheap and bad; is not the quantity is the quality it will be cheaper on the whole; better to eat well than having your plate full of crap , don't be afraid you won't die starvation is not in the way sickens and disease might be a better bet.
