To Whom It May Concern:

Bank America is looking into this matter of the specialty credit card with HSUS.  However, this is an affinity program that was acquired with our acquisition of MBNA in 2006.  We partner with nearly 3,000 national and local organizations, including colleges and universities, sports teams, and nonprofit service organizations, to issue credit cards and debit cards that our customers enjoy using.  The matter has been elevated and is being looked into so that we can further address your concerns.

The cattle industry is very important to Bank of America.  We have over 1 billion dollars in loan commitments to the cattle industry.  Our bank in Amarillo has been loaning money to the cattle industry for over 100 years.  Our group in Amarillo covers the cattle feeding sector from South Texas to Nebraska.  This industry is very important to our bank and we have been incredibly supportive throughout the history of this industry.

I hope this helps clarify our support and dedication to the cattle industry.  If I can ever be of assistance, please feel free to call me.
