Compared to last month: All qualities of alfalfa mostly steady on per bale
basis, generally 10.00 to 15.00 higher per ton basis. Mixed alfalfa mostly
steady on both per bale and per ton basis. Grass hay mostly steady on small
squares per bale, large squares mostly 5.00 to 10.00 lower on per bale basis.
Trade activity was moderate to active. Demand moderate to good on moderate
supply. Next hay sale will be Saturday, November 28, 2009.
