With the cold wet harvest season, producers are having a hard time getting corn out of the field for silage and high moisture corn. In addition, this corn has the potential to introduce mycotoxins into the ration.

Elanco Animal Health has announced the hiring of Dr. John Scanga as a senior technical consultant. In this role he will work with Elanco’s marketing and sales teams, providing technical support for the company’s Beef Business Unit, while also conducting product-related research. Scanga will work from his home base in Colo.
