Weather has cleared and warmed up and these conditions expected through
the week. Wheat pasture should improve.

The direct hog trade prices are based on 185 lbs hog carcass with 0.9-1.1
inch back fat and 6 inch square loin/2.0 inch depth plant delivered. National
direct trade barrows and gilts .83 hgr at 43.00-55.25, weighted average price
52.30. Iowa-Minnesota 1.70 hgr at 45.00-55.25, weighted average price 53.75.
Western Cornbelt 1.21 hgr at 45.00-55.25, weighted average price 53.53 and
Eastern Cornbelt .33 hgr at 43.00-52.36, weighted average price 49.94.
Live Basis (240-280 lbs): National direct trade barrows and gilts .97 lwr
at 33.06-41.50, weighted average 38.84. Iowa-Minnesota 1.99 lwr at 34.00-
