FFA Beef Breeds Compete For Iowa State Fair’s Supreme Champion Title

Charlie Wilson of Miles exhibited the Supreme Champion Female in the FFA Breeding Beef Show Thursday, August 13, at the 2009 Iowa State Fair.

Wilson’s prize winner topped its breed division to earn the Champion Maintainer title prior to being named the Supreme Female in the day’s competition.

A Commercial heifer owned by Eric Meyer of Belmond captured the Reserve Supreme Female banner. It had previously earned Champion Commercial heifer.

Chance Wiese of Manning exhibited the Supreme Champion Bull and Lauren Barker of Monticello took the Reserve banner.
