There are a lot of bad words out there, so bad that they can only be used in polite society by calling them the (Place first letter here) word as in the “R” word. Let me type out that one here just this one time: “Recall.” It’s a word that makes everybody in the beef industry cringe.

On the positive side, the cattle had a great week. We had $94 - $95 cash trade, which was $2 - $3 higher than last week and both the live cattle and feeder cattle futures posted solid gains with many contract making new contract highs.
