IMPORT BEEF TRADE
Compared to Last Week: Market activity on imported beef was slow and
price levels were mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher compared to last week. Tight
nearby supplies and the firmer domestic market supported import prices.
There was quite a bit of interest on outfront sales for late December
and early January.
