Missing Cowboy's Horse Found

A horse was found along the Trinity River.
The horse belongs to Gene Roberts who went missing at 3:30 p.m.on Sunday while rounding up cattle along the Trinity River. The horse was recovered in a wooded area about 30 yards from where Roberts disappeared according to the Houston Chronicle.
“The horse was pretty spooked and I guess he might have eventually drowned. He had a waterline on his neck,” said Ken DeFoor, a retired Liberty County chief deputy who searched the flooded area in a helicopter and small plane on Monday told reporters.
