Cattle and calves on feed for the slaughter market in Idaho from
feedlots with a capacity of 1,000 or more head on November 1, 2009
totaled 210,000 head, according to the National Agricultural Statistics
Service.

Cattle and calves on feed for slaughter market in Texas feedlots with
capacity of 1,000 head or more totaled 2.73 million head on November 1,
up 1 percent from a year ago. According to the monthly report released
by the Texas Field Office, the estimate was up 5 percent from the
October 1 level.

The inventory of cattle on feed was 375 thousand head in Oklahoma on
November 1, 2009, for feedlots with capacity of 1,000 or more head, up
6 percent from the previous month and up 17 percent from November 1,
2008.
