Feeder Cattle Weighted Report for Thursday 11/05/09
Cattle offered: 1,000
Trade and demand moderate to good. Cattle offered from Florida, Louisiana,
and Mississippi. Supply sold included 44 percent feeder cattle over 600 lbs.
Supply 60 percent steers and 40 percent heifers. Prices based on weights FOB
with 1-3 percent pencil shrink or equivalent, and slides of 4-10 cents on calves
and 4-8 cents on yearlings. Deliveries current through December 2009.
