The 22nd Annual World Beef Expo, presented by ADM Crop Risk Services, will take place September 26th -28th at the Wisconsin State Park Fairgrounds in Milwaukee. Each year people from around the country attend World Beef Expo for a variety of cattle shows, educational seminars, youth sweepstakes contests, Showcase Sale, Supreme Drive and trade show. In 2013 exhibitors from 14 states displayed, exhibited or sold cattle at World Beef Expo. The Junior show had 462 entries and Open Show had 542 entries.
Registrations are now being accepted for the 2014 World Beef Expo. To register, go to http://worldbeefexpo.com/ and select Open Show or Junior Show for information on how to sign up. The deadline for early registration is August 15th.
We are pleased to announce the Open Show judges - Kyle Conley of Oklahoma, Ring 1 and Mark Johnson of Oklahoma, Ring 2. The Junior Show will be judged by Brigham Stewart of Kansas in Ring 1 and Mathew Lewis of Colorado in Ring 2. The 2014 Schedule has been posted on our website.
Nominations are still being accepted for the WBE Showcase Sale. The sale entry form is located on our website at http://worldbeefexpo.com/showcasesale.html. DVAuction will be internet broadcasting this year's World Beef Expo Showcase Sale and Supreme Drive. This is great news for anyone with consignments in the sale. Bidders will be able to view and bid online. Plus the Supreme Drive will also be broadcast live on the internet.
Weaver Livestock will offer a Youth Fitting Clinic on Friday, September 26th. Additional educational seminar topics tentatively scheduled include:
