Texas Cattle Feeders Association Names Officers, Board

The Texas Cattle Feeders Association (TCFA), during its 2008 Annual Convention in Grapevine, named its officers and directors for the coming year.

Monte Cluck of Boerne is chairman of the board, Mike Engler of Amarillo is chairman-elect, and Bo Kizziar of Spearman is vice chairman.

Cattle feeders elected to one-year terms on the board of directors are Ben Brophy of Wichita, Monte Cluck of Boerne, Lin Cope of Guymon, Shuck Donnell of Muleshoe, Tom McDonald of Dalhart and Jack Scoggins, Jr. of Rio Grande City.

Directors chosen for two-year terms are Scott Anderson of Guymon, David Baumann of Dawn, Mike Engler of Amarillo, Bill Roser of Watonga, Warren White of Hereford and Richard Winter of Amarillo.

Directors elected to three-year terms are Raymond Brown of Hereford, Sammy Brown of Friona, Matt Forrester of Oklahoma City, Robby Kirkland of Vega, Bo Kizziar of Spearman and Dale Smith of Amarillo.   In addition, the two immediate past chairmen serve on the TCFA board.They are Don McCasland of Clovis and Walter E. Lasley of Stratford.

TCFA represents cattle feeders in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, an area that produces 30% of the nation’s fed beef.
