Veterinary waste disposal website

A new website, Veterinary Compliance Assistance, has been created by the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences and the American Veterinary Medical Association, and is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This site provides pollution prevention and compliance assistance information for the veterinary sector. It is intended to be a comprehensive resource, covering all the varieties of veterinary hospital wastes, and all the rules that apply to them, including both federal regulations and the specific rules that apply in your state.

The Web site contains information on hazardous waste, carcass disposal, regulated medical waste, waste reduction, facilities management and regulations and standards.
