Cattle producers in southeast Kentucky found shotgun shell casings, two sets of four-wheeler tracks and 10 dead cows in their pastures Friday morning.

The 10 dead cattle, plus another five still missing were some of the farmers’ best animals. WSAZ News Channel 3 reports losses add up to $25,000.

The Bell County Sheriff’s department is investigating the incident and the farmers are offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
