Colorado farmer puts life in danger to stop wildfire

Seeing his livelihood going up in flames, a Colorado farmer took action last week to help stop the blazing fire in its tracks.

Putting his own life in danger, the video shows Weld County farmer Eric Howard working within feet of the wildfire to dig a fire line in his hay field while firefighters assisted. CBS Denver reports the fire burned up to 30 acres in the 80-acre field on Monday, July 8.
