5 cattle rustlers arrested in Louisiana

Officials in Louisiana charged five cattle rustlers after local sheriff’s deputies found 37 stolen brangus cattle in three trailers over the weekend.

The News Star reports fifteen of the cows were connected to a cattle theft reported in May. One of the trailers found had also been reported stolen in October.

All five have been charged of alleged livestock theft and are currently in jail awaiting bond to be set.  One of the rustlers was also charged with possession of stolen property, criminal conspiracy and contributing to delinquency of a juvenile.
