The U.S. National Brahman Show and fall board of directors meeting will be held November 12-17 in conjunction with the Jambalaya Classic in Gonzales, Louisiana.
Brahman exhibitors from across the nation will gather for this annual event, in which national champions will be crowned in the red and grey Brahman bull and female shows. Nearly 400 head of cattle are expected for the main attraction, however the event will alsoinclude committee meetings, board meetings, a junior show, and plenty of opportunities for social activities amongst breeders.
Clay Espey, president of the Louisiana Brahman Association, says members have been anxiously preparing for the event all year.
“LBA is looking forward to hosting breeders from across the United States along with international breeders,” says Espey. “We have an exciting week of Louisiana cuisine and hospitality planned for everyone.”
The open female show begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, followed by the bull show on Saturday, November 16. Dr. Jim Sanders, Lee Pritchard, and Gerald Young will serve asmembers of the 3-member panel of judges for the show.
