In just one week, three Kansas brothers have gone from family farmers to Internet sensations with a music video parody to LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I Know It.” Their parody, “I’m Farming and I Grow I,” has now been seen by more than 1.6 million viewers on YouTube, and the Peterson brothers are now featured on a multitude of mainstream media outlets, including Fox news.

The brothers – 21-year old Greg, 18-year old Nathan and 15-year old Kendal – put together the pro-agriculture video before harvest and convinced their 11-year old sister to help her brothers film the video.  Overall, it took about 3 weeks for the brothers to record and film the music video.

The song continues to draw attention, and the brothers are more than happy to help share their pro-agriculture views. As the video grew in popularity, viewers of popular TV programs and networks demanded to know more about the Assaria, Kansas-based farming family.

“We really want agriculture to be promoted,” Nathan Peterson told Brian Kilmeade in an interview on FOX News Channel’s live morning news program.  “I think a lot of people overlook it as how important it. It’s where everyone’s food comes from.”

“Without agriculture none of us would have food or clothes or anything like that. We want to use our God-given talents to promote what we care about and do every day,” he said.
