Heavier carcass weights have driven up beef production for both 2014 and 2015, according to the USDA's latest World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report.

Lower corn prices have also pushed producers to market heavier cattle.

Beef imports are unchanged from last month for both 2014 and 2015 forecasts. Beef exports for 2014 are lower according to recent trade data. The forecast for beef exports for 2015 are unchanged, however.
