Cory Schrag, a judge at this year’s Norfolk Beef Expo, said that showing cattle teaches young people the value of having a good work ethic.
“These kids have worked on these cattle all summer long,” Schrag, a Marion, S.D., resident told Jerry Guenther of the Norfolk Daily News. “And this is just a nice culmination of what these kids have worked on actually for a year now. The amount of work, effort and dedication they have put into these cattle to get them to this point is really, really impressive.”
Guenther reports that Schrag was impressed with the quality of the cattle at the 65th annual Norfolk Beef Expo on Sunday, and the kids who raised them.
