Several head of cattle in Daggett County, Utah have been found dead and mutilated in nearby fields in the past two weeks, according to Daggett County Sheriff's spokesperson Susie Potter.
The cause of death still hasn't been discovered for the cattle, however, postmortem mutilation was found on all three of the dead animals, Michael McFall reported for The Salt Lake Tribune.
A similar case occurred around this time last year, when two head of cattle died of unknown cases in the area and were then mutilated. Cases such as this one are hard to solve, because there is unlikely a witness in a field.
