KANSAS CITY, Mo. —  Jessica England, Columbia, Mo., has been selected as the new Hereford Publications Inc. advertising coordinator. England graduated in May with a bachelor’s of science degree in agricultural journalism from the University of Missouri.

England has worked as an intern for both MayeCreate Design, Columbia, Mo., and Osborn & Barr, St. Louis, Mo., where she gained valuable experience in advertising by writing, editing and working with clients.

She also was president and first vice president of National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, which allowed opportunity for professional and leadership skill building.

England has cattle experience from her childhood, where she was raised on a farming and cattle operation in Illinois.

Hereford Publications Inc. Production Manager Caryn Vaught says, “We are excited to have Jessica join the HPI team. She has an impressive résumé with a remarkable list of internship and leadership experiences. She will bring new ideas and become a tremendous asset to our team.”

Jessica will start work at AHA headquarters in Kansas City, Mo., May 21.
