Marketings of cattle from feedlots with 1,000 head or more during November totaled 34,000 head, down 1,000 head from last year. Other disappearance totaled 1,000 head during November.

During November, placements of cattle and calves weighing less than 600 pounds were 645,000, 600-699 pounds were 450,000, 700-799 pounds were 375,000, and 800 pounds and greater were 453,000. Marketings of fed cattle during November totaled 1.76 million, 1 percent below 2011. Other disappearance totaled 88,000 during November, 9 percent below 2011.
