Jerry, why does the AHA keep putting out information that Hereford bulls average $4000 per head, when the best performance breeders as yourself and Knoll Crest Farms can't average those prices? Is this just a function of location, where bull sold west ot the Mississippi in large groups to commercial producers average those kinds of prices? I watch Superior Livestock Auctions and see these kinds of averages.

East of the Mississippi we sell to small producers (<30 cow herds), and while you may see a sale bull average price of $30,000 it only represents the sale or interest in one (1) bull.
