At the age of 14 in the 1920s, Leo Timmerman began buying and selling cattle in Nebraska. In 1945 he purchased a feedyard near Omaha, and from there expanded the family business into cattle feeding and ranching in several states.  At the 2013 Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame banquet, Leo’s son Norman Timmerman discusses his father’s business and his induction into the Hall of Fame.
