The International Livestock Congress – USA 2013 will address a variety of proactive strategies to deal with the ever-changing beef industry. The event takes place Tuesday, January 15 in Denver, in conjunction with the National Western Stock Show.
Attendees will hear firsthand from world renowned keynote speakers who will address the current marketing issues domestically and internationally. These "make or break" issues must be addressed in order to assure that the beef industry is positioned to “Feed the World”!
Hear the latest information on environmental impacts on beef production; sustainability; and knowing your international customer and competitors. Afternoon breakout sessions will focus on Latin America’s role in beef production; top three technologies that will increase volume and demand; maintaining quality and consistency; impact of regulations; preparing North America to compete; and how/what are we going to feed our cattle.
Closing the 2013 Congress will be a synopsis of the day by Dr. John Paterson and Dr. Gary Smith.
Participants should also plan to attend the ever-popular pre-congress tour on Monday, January 14th. For details, visit the ILC website.
