Fort Hays State University (FHSU) and the Kansas Beef Council will be hosting a Masters of Beef Advocacy (MBA) commencement training and graduation April 5 in Hays. The program is open to all Kansas MBA graduates and those currently enrolled in the online program. Those still in the process of completing the online courses have time to finish before this graduation session.
NCBA Executive Director of Communications Daren Williams will be conducting the hands-on advocacy workshop. The checkoff-funded commencement training is designed to equip MBA graduates with the communication skills needed to answer tough questions from family, friends and consumers, as well as deliver positive messages about beef in the global online community.
The program is free of charge and will be held from noon to 5:00 p.m. at the FHSU Foundation Robbins Center. Lunch will be provided. Reserve space by sending an email to mba@beef.org.
