More than 60 head of cattle have now been shot in the Northern part of Nevada since mid-summer. The previous reward for the shooter has been raised to $20,600.

While only 10 of the animals have been killed, the rest were either maimed or seriously wounded, Ron Torell, president of the Nevada Cattlemen's Association said. The most recent incident was found on Wednesday, Martin Griffith reported for the Associated Press.

Local law enforcement and the association are working together, along with the Nevada Department of Agriculutre to find the shooter.
