Submissions for Vance Publishing’s 40 Under 40 Awards are filing in from all aspects of the agricultural industry. Early reviews uncover a compilation of young professionals with the qualities needed to resolve food production issues that lie ahead.
The 40 Under 40 Awards seek out those young leaders in the agricultural industry who are making striking contributions in feeding a growing world population expected to top 9.1 billion people by 2050.
Early nominations represent livestock, crop and produce production, in addition to professionals in retail, research, food safety and technology. Entries span a full range of government and university employees, veterinarians, chefs and farm and ranch owners and operators.
Anyone playing a role in advancing the field of agriculture through food production, food processing, food safety, food research, food transportation or a group, organization, association or university that serves those industries will be considered.
Vance Publishing recognizes the challenges ahead and values the effort put forward by those who play a critical role in finding solutions. There’s still time to nominate a fellow professional for the award.
Entries can be submitted here before July 30, 2013.
