EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson appeared on AgriTalk Friday stating although farms aren’t at the top of the list, they will be required to follow greenhouse gas regulations under the Clean Air Act in the next few years.

Jackson told AgriTalk she doesn’t expect the EPA to address farms until at least 2013, but livestock producers and crop growers will eventually follow greenhouse gas regulations under the Clean Air Act. Before farms are addressed, the EPA is concerned with what Jackson calls the “big sources” including power plants, refineries and automobiles.
