Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 01/25/2013

   Confirmed:  3984     Last Week:  2407     Last Year:  2220

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers 2.00 to 5.00 lower.  Feeder heifer 
lightly tested on a current FOB basis but a much lower undertone was noted.  
Demand moderate.  Supply this week included 100 percent over 600 lbs and 33 
percent heifers. 
   Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent 
shrink or equivalent and with a 5-10 cent slide on calves and 3-6 cent 
slide on yearlings from base weights. Current sales up to 14 days for
delivery.
