   Compared with two weeks ago: Comparable sales feeder steers and heifers 
mostly steady. Bulk of this week's receipts were calves with only a few 
yearlings.  Trade and demand moderate. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher; 
slaughter bulls not fully tested.  Bulk receipts Medium and Large 1-2 400-800 
lb. feeder steers and heifers. Slaughter cows and bulls made up 8 percent, less 
than 1 percent replacements and 91 percent feeders. Feeder supply included 73 
percent steers and bulls, 27 percent heifers. Approximately 84 percent of the 
run weighed over 600 lbs.
  
   Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 461 lbs 177.00; few 627 lb calves 155.00, 
few 699 lb calves 149.25; string 732 lbs 151.25, 700-775 lb calves 146.35-
148.50; few 832 lbs 142.75, few 861 lb calves 140.50.
   Medium and Large 1-2 few 518 lbs 162.00, few 593 lbs 146.00; few 698 lb 
calves 148.25; load 815 lbs 146.25, few 829 lbs 143.75.
