   There was not enough feeder steer or heifer sales for an adequate market 
trend this week, however a lower undertone was noted.  Trade activity was light 
to moderate on moderate demand.  Receipts were curbed this week due to the snow 
received on Tuesday creating muddy conditions for getting cattle to the sale.  
Slaughter cows and bulls were steady.  Slaughter cows and bulls made up 4 
percent, less than 1 percent replacements and 96 percent feeders.  Feeder 
supply included 57 percent steers and bulls, 43 percent heifers.  Approximately 
66 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.

   Steers:  Medium and Large 1 lot 332 lbs 215.50; 400-500 lbs 176.00-182.50; 
few 511 lbs 170.00; 550-600 lbs 150.00-153.00; 700-750 lb calves 135.00-136.50; 
lot 761 lbs 137.00; lot 854 lbs 131.00; lot 911 lbs 130.25.
   Medium and Large 1-2 few 611 lbs 143.00; lot 801 lbs 133.25; few 921 lbs 
127.50; 950-1000 lbs fleshy 115.00-117.00.
   Medium and Large 2 few 480 lbs 161.00; lot 553 lbs 145.50; lot 660 lbs
