moderate demand and offerings. Select and Choice rib cuts weak to lower,
chuck and round steady to firm. Loin cuts firm on Choice and lower on
Select. Beef trimmings sharply lower on moderate demand and heavy
offerings.
Estimated composite cutout value of Choice 1-3 600-900 lbs
carcasses DN 0.16 at 194.89; Select 1-3 600-900 lbs carcasses
DN 1.69 at 174.83; based on 90.49 loads of Choice cuts, 61.61
loads of Select cuts, 43.49 loads of Trimmings, and 51.07
loads of coarse ground trimmings.

Sales reported on 102.50 loads of pork cuts and 4.0 loads of
trim/process pork.
Compared to Tuesday's Close: Fresh 1/4" trimmed loins generally
steady; butts steady to 2.00 lower; 20-23 lbs hams 2.00 higher, 23-27 lbs
steady to weak; lean trimmings not tested. Trading moderate, with mostly
light demand and light to moderate offerings.
