IMPORT BEEF TRADE
Compared to Last Week: Early week market activity on imported beef was
moderate to active and prices were sharply higher. Import supplies were
scarce. Outfront sales remained very light. The flooding in Australia
and its impact dominated the trade news. The market for frozen domestic
product was sharply higher as buyers continued to use it to bolster
their scarce import supplies.
