IMPORT BEEF TRADE
Compared to Last Week: Prices remain steady to weak on imported beef
on moderate demand and very light offerings. Market activity is mostly
at a standstill as inventory is limited, especially out of New Zealand,
and the weak U.S. currency rate. Lower domestic price levels on beef
are also are playing a role in the slowly traded import market.
