IMPORT BEEF TRADE
Compared to Last Week: Market activity on imported beef was moderate
to active and prices were 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Tight import and domestic
supplies supported prices. The seasonal New Zealand cow kill has been
lighter than anticipated. Producers have delayed marketing their cows
due to the continued availability of pastures and heavy rains in some
areas.
