IMPORT BEEF TRADE

Compared to Last Week:  Market activity on imported beef was moderate
and prices were firm to 2.00 higher. Extremely limited import supplies
and the stronger domestic market continued to support prices. Record
high prices for domestic 50% lean trim lead to some buyers using less
95% lean product in their formulations.
