IMPORT BEEF TRADE

Compared to Last Week:  Market activity on imported beef was moderate
and prices were firm to 1.00 higher. Higher domestic lean prices and
strong seasonal demand continued to support prices. Slaughter plants
in Australia and New Zealand have resumed their normal schedules and
supplies were more readily available.
