IMPORT BEEF TRADE

Compared to Last Week:  Market activity on imported beef was slow and
prices were mostly steady to 1.00 lower. Demand was light to moderate
for light offerings. The observance of Anzac Day in Australia and New
Zealand slowed trading. The domestic lean market was firm to higher
as supplies of lean product remained tight.
