IMPORT BEEF TRADE

Compared to Last Week:  Market activity on imported beef was moderate
to active and prices were mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Demand was good
for light offerings. Strong demand for imported product and tight supplies
continued to support prices after the holiday. New Zealand's seasonal
cow kill was behind schedule and supplies were very light.
