IMPORT BEEF TRADE
Compared to Last Week: Market activity on imported beef was slow to
moderate with most product trading firm to 2.00 higher. A few early
week sales were steady to weak. Import supplies were light with 90%
cow in very short supply. The impact of the flooding in Australia and
lighter than anticipated imports from New Zealand pushed prices higher.
