Compared to last Monday at same market, stocker and feeder cattle steady
to firm. Trade active with good demand and good buyer attendance. Slaughter
cows and bulls steady to 2.00 lower. Trade slow to moderate with light
demand from local packers and moderate demand from eastern packers.
Slaughter cows made up 32 percent of the offering, Slaughter bulls 5 percent,
and feeders 63 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 32 percent
steers and 68 percent heifers. Near 68 percent of the run weighed over 600
lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 400-500 lbs 184.50-186.00; 500-600
lbs 170.00-178.50; 600-700 lbs 151.00-152.00; 600-700 lbs 142.50, Full;
