Compared to last Saturday; Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Feeder
steers and bulls 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00 to 5.00
higher. Light supply of feeder cattle with good demand. Heavy rains in
the area over the last week have improved pasture conditions and demand
for feeders.
Slaughter cows 15 percent: Slaughter bulls 02 percent: Replacement cows
03 percent and feeders 80 percent: The feeder supply included 19 percent
steers, 29 percent Holsteins steers, 24 percent heifers, 28 percent
bulls: 21 percent of the supply weighed over 600 lbs.
