Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for Friday June 08, 2012
Receipts: 818 Last Week: 689 Last Year: NA
Compared to last week: There were not enough comparable feeder cattle sales
for an adequate market trend, but a higher undertone was noted. Slaughter and
feeding cows traded 2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls steady. Trade was moderate
with good buyer demand. The supply was comprised of approximately 22 feeders,
33 percent slaughter cows, 4 percent feeding cows, 2 percent slaughter bulls, 39
percent replacement cattle.
