   Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls steady to firm. Feeding cows 

steady to firm.  Packers are beginning to build their cows on feed numbers as 

they are expecting there to be a short supply the after the first of the year.  

Buyer demand was Good on slaughter cows and good to very good on feeding cows.  

Moderate trading activity.  The supply was comprised of approximately 40 percent 

slaughter cows and bulls and the balance feeding cows and bulls.
