Compared to one week earlier, slaughter cows and bulls steady to 2.00
higher, feeder steers and feeder heifers steady to 2.00 lower, steer
calves and heifer calves unevenly steady, replacement cows 4.00 to
6.00 higher.
Slaughter cows 19 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent, feeder cattle 79
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 35 percent
of the run, heifers 27 percent, replacement cows 38 percent. Steers and
heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.
