Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary

   Cattle auctions at Dixie (1077), Franklin Co. (1179), Lanier (224), 
Pulaski Co (325) and Thomas Co (470). Receipts Tuesday 3,275 week ago 2,727 and 
year ago 3,338. Compared to one week earlier, slaughter unevenly steady to 2.00 
lower, bulls unevenly steady, feeder steers mostly steady, heifers steady to 2.00 
lower, steer calves steady to 3.00 lower, heifer calves steady to 2.00 lower, 
replacement cows steady to 2.00 lower.

Slaughter cows 16 percent, slaughter bulls 1 percent and feeders 83 percent. In 
the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 55 percent of the run, heifers 34 
percent and replacement cows 11 percent, steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled 
around 17 percent.
