Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Livestock Auctions that were held Wednesday Feb 13, 2013

   Cattle auctions at Ashburn (425), Athens (407), Donalsonville (130), 
Jackson (246), Moultrie (311), and Washington (145). Receipts Wednesday 
1,664 week ago 2,814 and year ago 3,182. Compared to one week earlier, 
slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower, bulls mostly steady, feeder steers 
and heifers steady to 3.00 lower, steer calves and heifer calves 2.00 to 
4.00 lower, replacement cows mostly steady.

Slaughter cows 16 percent, slaughter bulls 3 percent and feeders 81 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 51 percent 
of the run, heifers 39 percent and replacement cows 10 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 18 percent.
